Hey there newbie, we are super excited to have you join Fido. Getting access to quick personal or business credits shouldn’t be a hassle at all. If you're an individual who needs personal credit to sort out a few ones and two’s or you're a small business owner who needs business credit to boost their business then you're in the right place.

To get started with Fido, all you need is your smartphone, Android only (our iOS app is in development,) and your Ghana Card number. Ghana cards are the only recognized and acceptable form of identification in Ghana, so if you have both, YOU'RE GOOD TO GO.

How to Get Started

• Visit the Google Play Store and search for ‘Fido’ and install the new Fido App.
• Open the app and begin registration by providing your mobile number. You will receive a one-time code (OTP) to your phone via SMS. 
• Set your 4 digits pin code, make sure it’s a code you can remember. Don’t share this pincode with anyone. 
• Set your security question. Your security question will stop others from gaining access to your account.
  Make sure it's an answer you can remember.
• Begin the credit application process by submitting your: Selfie, Ghana Card and Address.‍
• Apply for your quick personal or business credit and wait for approval, Once  approved, money will be instantly sent to your Mobile Money account. 

Yup It's that easy. After your first credit, you should be able to explore our Fido Score feature. This feature will help  build your financial identity and also help you unlock improved offerings and terms. It often ranges between 0 and 800, An initial Fido Score is assigned to you after you apply for your first credit.
