Term starts, and the fees are due all at once. A small amount put aside each week makes that day easier. The first step is to know the number.
Take the number of children in school. Multiply it by the fee for one child for one term. Count the weeks left before term starts. Divide the total by the weeks, and round up.
Example: 2 children, the same fee for each, 10 weeks to term. The total for the term is 2 times the fee. Divide that by 10, and you have the weekly amount. With 5 weeks left instead of 10, the weekly amount is double.
We made a free planner for parents. Type your number of children, the fee per term and the weeks to term start. It shows what to set aside each week, and gives you a countdown card to share on WhatsApp. The numbers stay on your phone. Nothing you type is saved or sent.
