The attention of Fido has been drawn to various advertisements on TV and other media channels by unscrupulous persons posing as employees or agents of Fido requesting for payment of amounts of money in order to obtain a credit from FIDO. The TV stations which have been identified are as follows:
FIDO wishes to state categorically that such advertisements are not from FIDO and are being conducted by FRAUDSTERS. FIDO credit can only be accessed through FIDO’s mobile app on Google Playstore.
Additionally, FIDO wishes to issue the following disclaimers:
FIDO wishes to strongly caution against the abuse and misuse of the company’s brand identity as this is an infringement on FIDO’s intellectual property rights, and FIDO will not hesitate to take the appropriate action and seek redress through law enforcement agencies and in the court of law.
Customers and the general public are advised to desist from such advertisements and from paying any money in the hope of obtaining a credit. All credit should be made through the FIDO mobile application.
Please note that under no circumstances shall FIDO be held liable or responsible for any claims, losses, damages, expenses or other inconvenience resulting from or in any way connected to the actions of these imposters.
