Creating your Fido Account is simple and easy!
In order to receive the SMS we send you, your mobile number needs to be active and on a working mobile device. After completing your registration, you should verify your identity in the app and apply for your personal credit with Fido.
Note that the Fido App is free to download and use. You should not pay money to any individual to register a Fido Account or use Fido services. Any charges linked to your personal credit will be clearly displayed within the Fido App.
Absolutely! At Fido, we believe in rewarding responsible financial behavior.
Returning customers are therefore eligible for early repayment benefits.
When you choose to make a full payment before the scheduled due date, you will only be charged the interest that applies up to the day of your repayment.
This means that if you decide to repay your credit early, you will pay a reduced amount compared to what was originally specified in your credit payment schedule.
Installment loans are a way to make repaying larger loans easier for some Fido customers.
Customers eligible for installment loans will have this option in the app when choosing their loan term.
Fido offers up to 6 months of installment options.
This means that instead of repaying the entire loan after the usual one-month period, Fido will divide your loan repayment into small equal amounts.
Hence, you pay a small part of the loan each month over the installment period (3 or 6 months) you have chosen.
Note that, it does not mean you will only repay the loan after the period you choose, but it means each month you will pay a part of the bigger loan.

After successful registration with your mobile number, you can proceed to verify your Account by either going to the Profile section of your Account or by beginning the credit application process.
OTP (One-Time-Password) is a 6-digit number generated and sent by Fido as an SMS to your mobile number.
This is to verify your mobile number is correct and to prevent the fraudulent use of your mobile number.
The SMS will be sent shortly after you enter your mobile number on the login screen, once you receive it simply complete the OTP in the verification screen and press next.
