The Investor Relations and Corporate Secretary role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with shareholders, analysts, and other key stakeholders. This involves preparing communications literature, attending meetings, and managing events. 

Additionally, the role serves as the primary contact for all matters related to corporate governance, including managing the board of directors, maintaining corporate records, and advising on legal and regulatory matters. 

The role also coordinates and contextualizes the organization's ESG and CPP roadmap, engaging in regular coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders to lead cross-functional initiatives.

Investor Relations

• Develop a calendar of IR conferences and other events to facilitate regular contact with the principal shareholders.
• Prepare capital markets communications literature and presentations, slide show packs and roadshow materials.
• Attend key investor/analyst meetings, where appropriate with CEO and/or CFO and other Executive Directors.
• Manage periodic investor days and coordinate ad hoc analyst and investor tours, ensuring supporting materials are prepared as necessary.
• Oversee the production of the Annual Report in conjunction with other relevant business verticals.
• Write the investor relations Board reports to ensure Executive Management is current with the IR function and the financial markets’ views and concerns

‍ESG and Customer Protection Pathway (CPP)

• Coordinate and contextualize the organization's ESG and CPP roadmap, translating them into detailed project plans that facilitate the advancement of initiatives and foster accountability for desired outcomes.
• Engage in regular coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders to lead cross-functional initiatives that involve diverse teams, including legal, finance, sustainability, and human resources professionals.

• Minimum of 5 years of financial/investor relations experience at senior level, ideally within the Fintech industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Law is required.
• Clear and demonstrable understanding of financial statements, financial ratios and trading multiples, capital markets, and equity valuation techniques.
• Previous background working/studying in Ghana and familiarity with the Ghana market are advantages.
• Original, creative thinker with the ability to formulate and express a contrarian viewpoint.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to develop relationships both inside and outside the company.
